Teens getting in trouble for sending pics

So a couple of kids do what kids do. According to the rules in the Old Testament that parents believe are still in effect kids don’t touch each other in sexual places or even think of sex until they are married. Even though their thought are wrong they are not the problem. Unfortunately things have changed. It is not rare to see twelve year olds having sex and fourteen year olds having babies. Times are different especially now with the rise of technology.

You can meet people on line, talk, and even plan to have sex. What used to be normal chatting rooms have become late night booty call sites and people don’t mind them. So the question arises, is sending your girl/boy friend a picture of you naked wrong? Should you be put in jail for that? According to the hypocritical laws within this country, it is a terrible offence that can put a 16 year old seven years in jail.

Wrong? Absolutely.

It is evident that technology has influenced our lives, but even if it didn’t and we were in the 1940’s; would taking a picture of yourself naked and riding horseback to your lovers house to show it put you in jail? Technology is clearly not the issue. It is the law that has created this issue and ruined many young lives. So for now what can we do? We can’t walk into parliament and change the laws, so kids for now just stop sending pictures and see it in person!!!
